The Distinguished Alumnus Award is the highest honor bestowed upon a former student of Texas A&M University. The award, jointly sponsored by The Association of Former Students and Texas A&M, recognizes those former students who have made significant contributions to society and whose accomplishments and careers have brought honor and distinction to Texas A&M and The Association of Former Students.

About the Gala

Beginning in 2004, The Association of Former Students and Texas A&M University have annually honored all the Distinguished Alumni during the Distinguished Alumni Gala. This prestigious black-tie dinner and celebration has become one of the most anticipated events on our campus, bringing together former students, current students and friends of Texas A&M.

This premier event features entertainment, an exquisite menu, Aggie camaraderie and most importantly, the honoring of the current year recipients of the Distinguished Alumnus Award, which is the highest award bestowed upon a former student of Texas A&M University.

Excellence*

$20,000

Premier table for 10 at the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Gala.**
Two-hour customizable golf cart tour of the Texas A&M campus for up to four on a mutually agreed date during spring 2027 (deadline to select date: Jan. 29, 2027).
Two pre-game sideline passes to a mutually agreed Texas A&M home football game during the 2026 season (deadline to select date: Aug. 28, 2026).
Access to The Association’s suite at Olsen Field at Blue Bell Park for one mutually agreed non-conference baseball game during the 2027 season (deadline to select date: Dec. 11, 2026). Ten seats and one reserved parking space; purchaser must be present.
Two VIP Midnight Yell Field Passes immediately following the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Gala.

Selfless Service Individual Ticket

$300

Single ticket to the 2026 Distinguished Alumni Gala. Seating together is not guaranteed for individual ticket purchasers

Recognition Pages

Family and friends of Distinguished Alumni have the opportunity to purchase space in the Distinguished Alumni Gala dinner program for a half, full or two-page recognition page as an additional way to express congratulations to current year honorees.

* Only one (1) set of sponsorship benefits are provided per table regardless of the number of purchasers. If multiple individuals purchase a table, it is the purchasers’ responsibility to determine how the various benefits are distributed amongst the group. Transportation is not included for any sponsorship benefits.
** Priority of table placement will be based on sponsorship levels.

Cancellation Policy

Registration closes on Friday, July 31, 2026, or once maximum capacity is reached. Transfers of table and ticket purchases are allowed up until the registration deadline.
On or before Friday, July 31, 2026 - 100% refund
Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, through Friday, Aug. 7, 2026 - 50% refund
On or after Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026 - We are unable to provide a refund
