We are honored to have Jeff Williford '06 speaking at our 2012 Muster.  Jeff serves as a legislative liaison for the Texas Veterans Commission, the state agency that advocates for Texas veterans as they attempt to secure benefits earned for their service in our nation’s armed forces.  He is also a Captain in the United States Marine Corps Reserve, and in October 2011, returned from a year-long mobilization and combat deployment to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom with the 1st Battalion 23d Marines headquartered in Houston, Texas.  Jeff was born and raised in Katy, Texas and while at A&M, was a member of the Corps of Cadets, Company E-2, and the Ross Volunteer Company.  He graduated in August 2006 with a degree in Political Science.  He and his wife Abby live in Round Rock, just north of Austin, and are expecting their first child in June.
