The Chicagoland Texas A&M Club invites you to join us to celebrate one of our most cherished traditions. Our annual Muster Ceremony is on Saturday, April 18th, 2024. The ceremony will be held in the Wicker Park neighborhood of Chicago at Mirella’s Tavern. The evening will consist of a cocktail hour from 6:00-7:00 PM followed by the Muster program including a Build Your Own Taco Bar with chicken, steak and roasted vegetables along with elotes and a side salad (please contact us for Vegan Options if needed, will accommodate). This is a great opportunity to meet and re-connect with many local Aggies and hear about what’s happening at Texas A&M.
Guest Speaker
Joe Liccata ‘07
COO & General Counsel at HealthMark in Dallas
Bio: Joe Licata ('07) is the COO & General Counsel at HealthMark, a company that has been recognized as a member of the Aggie 100 (the 100 fastest growing Aggie led companies globally) in 2019, 2020, 2022, 2023, and 2025. He lives in Colleyville, Texas with his wife and four children and is a member of the Tarrant County A&M Club. He is a class agent for the class of 2007 and is on the leadership council for the Association of Former Students. In college Joe was involved in Aggie Men's Club, St. Mary's Catholic Student Center, Traditions Council, the Honor Council, and various Student Government and MSC committees and activities. He pitched and batted last on the team that won the intramural softball championship during one summer session, but RecSports was out of "A" league championship t-shirts so they gave the team "B" league championship t-shirts instead.
David Gilbert, one of Joe's roommates, was diagnosed with non-hodgkins lymphoma the summer after their freshman year, and passed away an all-too-short 11 months later. Silver Taps and the booming "here" when David's name was called at campus Muster that year were indelible memories from his time as an undergraduate. Along with a group of close friends, Joe was on the founding committee of the Gilbert Leadership Conference to honor David's memory. The conference celebrated its 20th class of freshman this past fall. Joe graduated with a bachelor of science in Economics and his first job was with the Capital Markets Group at Ziegler (which is headquartered off S. Wacker in Chicago). When not trying to keep HealthMark's spot on the Aggie 100 list Joe likes to spend time doing something active outside; he spends as many days floating the headwaters of the Rio Grande in July and August with his family as his calendar will allow. Sometimes they catch fish.
