Aggie Ring Policies

Ordering Policy

The Aggie Ring order must be submitted online or placed in person at the The Association of Former Students' Aggie Ring Program on the second floor of the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center.

  • Only students and former students who meet the eligibility requirements to order an Aggie Ring may do so.
  • Only one Aggie Ring may be ordered per qualified person.
    • If you receive multiple degrees from Texas A&M University, you may only order one Aggie Ring for one of your eligible Class years.
    • If you have your Aggie Ring and prefer a new one or you want to change your Class year, you must turn in your original Aggie Ring and have it remade. Please refer to the "Remake" section on the Resize and Repair page. The Association of Former Students' Aggie Ring Program must approve any Class year changes.
  • If your Aggie Ring is lost or stolen, a replacement Aggie Ring may be ordered after a Lost Aggie Ring Report has been filed.
  • One replacement Aggie Ring may be ordered for a deceased former student.
    • The order must match the order on file with The Association.
    • The order must be placed by the deceased's parent, spouse, child or sibling.

All Aggie Ring orders are subject to approval by The Association of Former Students' Aggie Ring Program.

Shipping Policy

Domestic Shipping:

  • Shipping method is Federal Express (FedEx) Priority Overnight with adult signature required. Shipments will take place only Monday-Thursday with no weekend or holiday deliveries allowed.
  • $30 for shipping within Texas.
  • $40 for shipping to all other states, including Alaska or Hawaii and APOs.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable if you later decide to pick up your Aggie Ring in person at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center.
  • If you would like to add shipping after you have placed your order, please email AggieRing@AggieNetwork.com or call 979-845-1050 to make arrangements.
  • The shipping fee must be paid in full prior to mailing. The fee can be paid when you order your Aggie Ring or any day thereafter.

If an adult will not be available to sign for your package, we recommend arranging delivery to a nearby FedEx location of your choice for pickup.

International Shipping:

  • When permitted by law and covered by shipping insurance, an Aggie Ring may be shipped internationally.
  • International shipments are sent via FedEx International Economy.
  • The Aggie Ring Program will coordinate with FedEx to calculate the fee when international shipping is requested.
  • Delivery may take two (2) weeks or longer depending on the location.
  • An Aggie Ring cannot be mailed to a foreign country to which the shipping of gold jewelry is prohibited.
  • Aggie Rings are subject to Customs duty and taxes and are the sole responsibility of the addressee. Any Customs duty and taxes due must be paid by the addressee upon receiving the package.
  • The Association of Former Students is not responsible for delays due to Customs.

If your Aggie Ring is lost or stolen during shipping:

  • The customer must notify the Aggie Ring Program if an Aggie Ring is not delivered as expected.
  • Aggie Rings may be tracked immediately, but it may take up to four (4) weeks to receive the results and/or payment from the carrier.
  • A replacement Aggie Ring cannot be ordered until the results of the claim and insured amount is received by The Association of Former Students. Because the cost of the Aggie Ring varies with each order session based on the current price of gold, any increase in the cost for the replacement must be paid in full by the customer before shipping. If the claim is denied, the customer is responsible for the full amount.
  • Should the FedEx investigation conclude that the Aggie Ring was delivered, The Association of Former Students is not responsible for replacement of the Aggie Ring.

FedEx Security Statement:

  • Due to increased security of packages by FedEx, your Aggie Ring delivery may take longer than the estimated 4-10 days.
  • FedEx's money-back guarantee is void when a package is delayed for security reasons prior to delivery. Due to these circumstances beyond our control, The Association of Former Students' Aggie Ring Program will not refund any shipping fees not refunded by the carrier.
  • Keep in mind a package delivered by FedEx must be signed for within 1-3 days of the first delivery attempt notice or they will return the package to the The Association of Former Students. This will result in an additional fee of $40.

Shipping may be added at any time; however, shipping fees are non-refundable if the service is later cancelled.

  • A Legacy Ring qualifies as your official Aggie Ring under our Aggie Ring Ordering Policy.
  • If you have multiple Aggie Rings (i.e. ordered replacement and later found the original) you must choose one Aggie Ring to be your official Aggie Ring. We will no longer work on the second Aggie Ring and encourage you to turn it in and receive the scrap value of the gold
  • The original Class year on the Aggie Ring cannot be altered.
  • The Aggie Ring must fit the qualified Aggie or be within resizing limits.
    • Depending on the condition, it may be altered up to 2 sizes. A resizing fee of $16.24 may apply.

    • Balfour will try to save the original engraving unless it will not allow room for the name of the new owner. In the event both names will not fit, Balfour will remove the original engraving and engrave both names in the new A&M script.
