The Association of Former Students' "Guide to Texas A&M Corps Uniforms" story took bronze in CASE's 2026 Circle of Excellence Awards in the marketing microsites category.

The deep dive explores the uniforms worn by cadets on Texas A&M University's campus, including details on the specific shoes, hats, brass, ribbons, special uniforms and more, as well as what they all mean. Award judges described the story site as "a well-executed digital storytelling piece that brings a detailed and often overlooked aspect of campus tradition to life in a clear and engaging way. The experience is visually strong and easy to follow, making a complex topic accessible to a broad audience." The story also appeared in the July-August 2026 issue of Texas Aggie magazine.

Randy Reyes '01, assistant vice president of marketing and communication at The Association, said, "This award recognizes the team's dedicated work at bringing in-depth stories like this to Aggies and readers everywhere. We hope this award multiplies the reach of the Corps uniforms story, especially among fellow awarded institutions and organizations."

CASE, or the Council for Advancement and Support of Education, recognizes projects from higher education institutions and advancement organizations annually through their Circle of Excellence Awards. Nearly 500 winners from 33 countries were named in 2026.
