Joseph Ney “Joey” Koch, 57, of D’Hanis passed away Monday, Feb. 8, 2021.

Born Feb. 3, 1964, in Hondo, he was the son of Mathias M. and Beatrice Theresa Ney Koch.

He is preceded in death by his mother and his brother, Ronald “Ronnie” Koch.

He is survived by his wife, Stephanie Devore Koch; sons, Jon Paul Koch and James Matthew Koch, all of D’Hanis; daughter, Angelina Koch; grandson, Gabriel Atwheel, both of San Antonio; sisters, Doris M. Koch '77 of Round Rock and Suzanne Koch of D’Hanis; and brother, Gary Koch '85 and wife Georgina of San Antonio.

Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and Funeral Mass at 10:30 will be Saturday, Feb. 13, at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Holy Cross Catholic Church Building Fund.

Joey's Aggie family includes cousins James '05, Jennifer ’91, Kevin ’95, Michael ’15, Ryan ’13, Garrett ’10, Vincent ’84, Amanda ’10, and Cameron ’12. Also nephew Matthew ’09, and niece Allison ’02.
