According to a recent review by the U.S. News and World Report, graduates of Texas A&M University serve as CEOs in more Fortune Top 500 companies than graduates of any other school in the country.
When surveying the top fifth of the Fortune Top 500 list, the report found Aggies in four CEO roles, while the University of Michigan and Penn State followed with three each.
The Aggies mentioned in the listing are:
Broussard and Cordani attended Mays Business School, while Woods studied electrical engineering and Garland studied chemical engineering.
According to Texas A&M Today, Michael K. Young acknowledged the achievement with joy.
“We are proud that our students are so highly regarded and our graduates are ascending to the top of the Fortune 500 list of CEOs,” Young said. “These senior executives on the list today and those for years to come fulfill the mission of Texas A&M of graduating leaders who serve, wherever their chosen pathways take them.”
