Twenty Aggies were listed as Missing in Action during the Vietnam War.  Of those, the remains of ten were later recovered and returned to the United States for burial. Most were buried in the Arlington National Cemetery. The ranks shown are the rank when reported missing and the rank at the time of recovery. The policy during the Vietnam War was that MIA/POW personnel would be considered for promotion with their contemporaries even thought they were in a MIA or POW status.
