1946 Corregidor Muster Flag

Stephanie Cannon '06 March 7, 2016 9:14 AM updated: March 8, 2016 9:54 AM

The 1946 Corregidor Muster flag recently went back on display in the Aggie Muster exhibit at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center.

Pictured here are Archive and Association staff placing the Corregidor flag in its case.

The flag will remain on display until after Muster 2016, which is the 70th anniversary of the legendary Corregidor photo in which the flag hangs from the Malinta Tunnel.

See that photo and learn about the 1942 and 1946 Aggie Musters at tx.ag/Corregidor. Explore an interactive version of the 1946 photo that lets you see names and information of the participants, a number of whom will be present April 21 for a special event--the dedication of a collection of Aggie Rings belonging to the Corregidor Aggies.

On April 21, more than 300 Musters will be held around the world. Make plans now to attend your local Muster. If there's not a Muster in your area, get assistance planning one here.
