When a fire destroyed their Bryan home in August, Mark '14 and Kirsten Hall lost most of their belongings and Kirsten went into labor. Their daughter Naomi was born 14 hours after the fire.

Dr. Justin Gayle '87, who delivered the baby, decided to buy Mark his first Aggie Ring. Bobby Boenigk ’77 heard the story and pitched in, though he didn’t know the Halls.
On Nov. 15, the Gayle and Boenigk families met up here at The Association of Former Students and presented Mark Hall with his Ring.
