Class of '75 45 Year Reunion

Oct. 15-17, 2021
College Station

Printable Registration Form

HOWDY!

The Class of 1975 45 Year Reunion is Oct. 15-17, 2021, in College Station. Registration details are below. Our headquarters hotels will be The George and Cavalry Court in Century Square on University Drive, just across from campus. Even though this is our second attempt at this Reunion, it is shaping up to be a memorable event.

Both hotels are only separated by a quiet street in the Century Square complex adjacent to campus. This area has an abundance of restaurants, bars, shops and even a Star Cinema Grill. It is an easy walk crossing University Drive to the impressive Bonfire Memorial if you have not seen it.

Friday will include a golf outing and tours of the new White-Walker Music Activities Center (home of the Fightin’ Texas Aggie Band), and the recently renovated Zachry Engineering Complex. Friday afternoon at 4 p.m., our own ’75 trio of Dave Skinner, Fuzzy Pierce and Colleen Haley will perform on the green area, steps from your hotels.

The green will have tables and is surrounded by bars and restaurants. You may want to get an early start to the fun. Friday evening will be a dinner function at Mo’s Irish Pub & Sports Bar, a short walk from the hotels. Saturday morning will include a breakfast and a speaker to give an update on Texas A&M, along with a Class business meeting in the banquet room at The George Hotel. Saturday afternoon or night, depending on game time, we will party at the Clayton W. Williams, Jr. Alumni Center and watch the Aggie vs. Missouri football away game on the Huddleston Video Wall. The party will include a cash bar and a barbecue buffet.

There will also be a hospitality room for us at the Cavalry Court hotel. Classmates are welcome to bring their own refreshments. We plan to have some Shiner beer and maybe a few other things, but if we have a big turnout, we will need more. Open times for the hospitality room are to be determined.

It will be a fun-filled weekend and a great chance to catch up with Aggie buddies. We look forward to seeing everyone there!

CLASS AGENT ELECTIONS
Class Agents serve as a liaison between their Class and The Association. This is the perfect opportunity to get involved as a former student, stay connected to the university and help lead your Class supporting A&M. Elections are held in conjunction with your Reunions, so now is your chance!

Teams consist of two to five members of your Class and serve a five-year term. As a Class Agent, you will serve on The Association of Former Students’ Leadership Council, which meets twice a year. The Association of Former Students provides orientation and resources to aid you in this role. Class Agents are responsible for keeping the Class informed through newsletters, websites and emails, planning Class events and providing annual fund information to former students.

Your current Class Agents (David, Tony, David, Terry, and Phillip) have agreed to serve another term if elected.

Class Agent elections will be held at the Class Business Meeting during your Reunion. For more information go to tx.ag/ClassAgent, email Class@AggieNetwork.com or call (800) 633-7514. Please let the Class Programs Team know at least 7 days prior to your Reunion that your Class Agent Team would like to run to get your name on the ballot. All nominations must be received by the Reunion registration deadline.

CANCELLATION POLICY
The Association of Former Students has a fairly flexible cancellation policy. If you cannot attend your Reunion, or an event for which you have registered, please contact the Class Programs office (800) 633-7514 no later than Oct. 1. Your payment will be refunded with the exception of the registration fee. Registration changes after the Oct. 11 deadline cannot be refunded as food orders will have been guaranteed.
