Aubre Dean serves as a Class Agent for the Class of 2016 and is a member of the leadership team for the New York A&M Club. While a student at Texas A&M Aubre was a Gamma Phi Beta and Speaker Pro Temp of the Student Senate. Ms. Dean's love for Texas A&M led to her involvement in Class Councils all four years of college and she served as both the 2016 Pull Out Day coordinator and VP of Ring Dance. Outside of these organizations, she was a counselor two years for Fish Camp and worked for the Student Activities office. Her involvement on campus led to her being awarded the Buck Weirus Spirit Award. Ms. Dean its a litigation attorney at Curtis, Mallet-Prevost, Colt & Mosle and focuses her practice on representing sovereign states and private-sector clients in complex litigation matters. Ms. Dean has experience litigating in state and federal courts at both the trial and appellate levels. Prior to joining Curtis, Ms. Dean concentrated her practice on commercial and civil rights litigation. While in law school, Ms. Dean served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Kiyo Matsumoto of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York through the Sonia and Celina Sotomayor Judicial Internship Program and as a student attorney with the Betty and Michael D. Wohl Veterans Legal Clinic. Additionally, Ms. Dean was Associate Notes Editor of the Syracuse Law Review and captain of the National Moot Court Competition team, finishing top 16 in the country. Ms. Dean maintains an active pro bono practice which includes being a part of Curtis teams that prepare amicus briefs for cases before the United States Supreme Court.
