Bio

Howdy! I'm an Arkansas transplant, a civil engineering graduate, a social extravert, a proud husband, and a father of three. I was heavily involved in Student Government and early implementation of the Vision 2020 campus master plan, expansion of student services, and the transformational changes championed by Dr. Gates. The 'soft' skills I developed at Texas A&M are just as critical as my technical education. My professional background is atypical in that I helped establish a new engineering firm immediately after college and successfully managed business operations while still an engineer-in-training. I then transitioned to a national firm and grew a practice focused on entitlement and site planning for large mixed-use and economic development projects in the Central Texas area. I accepted a new challenge and joined D.R. Horton, America's largest homebuilder, in 2021. After several years managing land acquisition and development at both the division and region level, I am now part of the corporate team supporting +130 markets throughout the country and engaging with institutional capital partners, land bankers, and major developers.
