Bio

Andrew Applewhite is a first year law student at SMU Dedman School of Law as a recipient of the Sumners Foundation Scholarship. Although his family has roots with t.u., Andrew saw the light and chose to attend Texas A&M alongside his twin sister in the fall of 2021. In 2023-2024, Andrew served as the Student Body President of Texas A&M, pouring his heart into representing and a current student population of over 77,000. He recently graduated with honors from Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science in May 2025.
