Bio
Miranda joined The Association of Former Students in Jan. 2021. As the Director of Advocacy and Legislative Affairs, she oversees the Texas A&M Advocacy Network, working in coordination with Texas A&M University to harness the power of the Aggie Network to advocate for Texas A&M and higher education with key decision-makers. She also engages and maintains relationships with former student elected officials and legislative staff members. Prior to joining The Association, Miranda worked for a U.S. Representative for nearly a decade as the Director of Constituent Services. A native of Monahans, Texas, and a first-generation college graduate, she received a Bachelor of Arts in political science and communication from Texas A&M in 2009 and a Master of Public Service and Administration (MPA) from Texas A&M in 2011. Miranda and her husband, Kevin ’02, are the proud parents of two future Aggies.
