Commissioned USAF 1971, USAF Active Duty 1971-1978, Texas Air National Guard (TXANG) 1978-1992 at 111th TFS/ 147th TFW @ Ellington ANGB, TX (Houston) flying the T-33 T-Bird, F-101 Voodoo, F-4 C/D Phantom II, and F-16 Fighting Falcon, Air Liaison Officer with the US Army 75th DIV 1992-1999 and detachment Liaison Commander 1998-99. Retired in 1999. Airline Pilot with Texas International Airlines 1979-1983, Continental Airlines 1983-2011 and United Airlines 2011-2014. Instructor Pilot/Check Airman DC9, MD-80 and Airbus A-300. Captain DC-9, MD-80, A-300, B-757, B-767, and B-787 Retired in 2014 with just over 27,000 hours total flying time. Moved to College Station in 2015 to be closer to TAMU and to enjoy our retirement years! Married my high school sweet-heart, Donna, in 1969 and we are still loving our life together today!
