Roll Call Tribute

Robert L. "Bob" Hanson, Jr. '72, 75, of Lawton, Okla. (formerly of Wilmington, Del.) died April 26, 2008. He retired from the U.S. Army at Fort Sill, Okla., in 2001 at the rank of colonel with 29 years of service. His military awards include the Legion of Merit (2nd award), Meritorious Service Medal (6th award) and Army Commendation Medal. He was director of resource management at Fort Sill after his military career. He was in Company F-2 of the Corps at Texas A&M and was company commander his senior year and was a member of the Ross Volunteers. Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Shirley; two daughters; three granddaughters; his father; and a sister.
