Clem B. Connally '38, 89, of Pensacola, Florida (formerly of Waco) died Jan. 14, 2007. He served in the U.S. Navy aboard the carrier USS Lexington (CV-2). He was awarded the Navy Cross. He retired from the U.S. Navy in 1959 at the rank of captain and moved from Chevy Chase, Maryland to Houston. He began a second career at Continental Oil Company (Conoco) where he retired in 1980 after 20 years. He moved to Pensacola in retirement. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Betty; two sons, John M. Connally '69 and James F. Connally '71; four grandchildren, including Jason W. Connally '97 and Carrie Connally Muzny '99; and three great-grandchildren.
