Larry P. Gottlieb '83, 46, of Glendale, Calif., (formerly of Houston) died Dec. 24, 2007. He studied and performed comedy at Second City in Chicago and with the comedy troupe The Groundlings in Los Angeles. He also performed comedy in Houston, Dallas, and New York. He had been in television and radio commercials in the Houston area and had acted in several films. He was the lead singer the Los Angeles-based band Loose Ties at the time of his death. He was in Company N-1 of the Corps of Cadets and a member of the Singing Cadets at Texas A&M. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia; two brothers, Bruce E. Gottlieb '79 and Thomas E. Gottlieb '81; and two sisters.
