Henry L. Hook '46, 84, of Portsmouth, Va. (formerly of Houston), died Nov. 15, 2009, following a long illness. He was an engineering officer in the U.S. Navy during World War II and a commanding officer in a U. S. Naval Reserve Seabee unit. He was a civilian employee in the U.S. Department of Defense for more than 50 years and was deputy director of the Navy regional fuel system at the time of his death. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Mary; a son; a daughter; four grandchildren; and a brother.
