Roll Call Tribute

Wilhelm G. Striecher '38, 89, of Memphis, Tennessee died March 20, 2007. He served with the U.S. Army in three European campaigns during World War II. He retired with the rank of captain. He received two Silver Stars and two Purple Hearts. He worked as a cotton marketing specialist for the U.S. Department of Agriculture Agricultural Marketing Service Cotton Division. Survivors include his wife of 61 years, Gladys; a daughter; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a sister.
