Roll Call Tribute

Robert R. "Bob" Warne '40, 87, of Marietta, Georgia (formerly of Mitchell, South Dakota; Baytown; and Houston) died Sept. 17, 2006. He joined Humble Oil & Refining Company in 1941 and retired from Exxon in 1972, with the last four years in Malaysia. He operated his own engineering services company from 1972-82. He and his wife, Bess, who preceded him in death, moved to Marietta in 1996. Survivors include a son; a daughter, Barbara Warne Ferguson '69; two granddaughters, including Tracy Ferguson Wheelis '95; and two great-grandchildren.
