Roll Call Tribute

Shannon Jones, Jr. '47, 82, of Dallas (formerly of Kaufman) died Feb. 12, 2009. He served in the U.S. Navy and then in U.S. Army Intelligence during World War II. He graduated from Southern Methodist University School of Law and began practicing law in Dallas in 1950 with the law firm of Alexander, George, Thuss & Passman. In 1952, he joined with Sam Passman in founding Passman & Jones. He practiced in civil law and in latter years worked primarily in the fields of wills and estates and entertainment law. He is survived by extended family.
