Roll Call Tribute

Gregory "Greg" Trimble '72 March 11, 2022 10:34 AM updated: March 11, 2022 10:48 AM

Gregory Lee Trimble
October 3, 1949 – January 26, 2022

Greg graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Electrical Engineering.

Upon graduating college, he worked at J Rich Sports until they closed. Greg’s next adventure came when he went into business with several colleagues, opening Alpine Autowerke, and worked there until retirement.

Over the years, Greg enjoyed dabbling in many past times. These included flying, Ham Radio operator, tinkering, and volunteering for the Houston Area League of PC Users. Greg was most famously known for his creative Halloween decorations. For over 30 years, his displays and treat bags delighted approximately 15,000 trick or treaters. And in his neighborhood, he was known as the “The Guy” who would walk daily and pet every dog he met.

Greg leaves a hole in the hearts of all those he touched with his humor, quiet demeanor, creativity, and kind soul.
