Dr. Walter A. “Andy” Deutsch
August 29, 1945 - November 16, 2017
Andy received his Bachelor's degree in Animal Science in 1969, he received his Master's and his Ph.D. in Genetics from Texas A&M University. He was a member of the Class of 1968.
Andy met Laura in 1991, they were both working at LSU, she as the Director of Graduate Records, and he as the Graduate Advisor for the Department of Biochemistry.
He was a resident of Austin, TX at the time of passing. He is survived by his loving wife, Laura.
