Luis Garza, Jr., 88 of Corpus Christi, TX, entered into rest Monday, April 1, 2019 in Corpus Christi, Texas.

He was born on August 10, 1930 in Edinburg, TX, son of Luis H. and Sofia (Rodriguez) Garza, Sr. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Drucilla M. Garza Barrera.

Luis proudly served his country in the U. S. Air Force.

Luis is survived by his wife, Shirley Selz Garza; daughter, Zita (Mark) Skurka; sons, Alonso J. Garza and Luis J. "Joey" (Becky) Garza; the mother of his children, Sylvia Lozano Garza; sister, Olga Correa; grandchildren and great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 -3:00 p.m., Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Duddlesten Funeral Home, with funeral services beginning at 3:00 p.m. Interment will follow in the Raymondville Memorial Cemetery, Raymondville, Texas with military honors given by the American Legion Post 390.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Duddlesten Funeral Home, 604 W. Hidalgo Ave., Raymondville, Texas.
