Theodore A Shapiro Class of 1964 passed away June 20, 2017. He was a proud Aggie throughout his life promoting Texas A&M wherever and whenever possible. His first career was in the transportation industry serving as management of several air freight forwarding companies in NY, IL and CO before owning and operating his own trucking company, Any Time Service Co. in Atlanta GA in 1978. Ted was a founding member of the Air and Expedited Motor Carriers' Association. He and his family raised Santa Gertrudis & Hereford cattle and Quarter horses. Ted sold his trucking company and the family farm to retire to West Palm Beach FL in 1998. After a year of retirement, he began his second career in residential real estate which kept him busy until his passing.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Arlene and daughters, Stephanie Shapiro and Stacy Shapiro and grandson Jake Shapiro.
