John Ross Dutton, age 64, of San Angelo, went peacefully to be with his Lord and Savior Monday, Feb. 29, 2016, surrounded by friends and family at his home.
Ross was born Oct. 23, 1951, in San Angelo, to James "Dude" and Waldean (Anderson) Dutton. After graduating from Eden High School, Ross attended Angelo State University for two years. He transferred to Texas A&M, where he completed his Bachelors of Science
degree in 1975, and earned his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1978. His career began in Houston and then continued at North Concho Veterinary Clinic in San Angelo.
In March of 1996, he married Pamela Keith Rogers. Together they opened Arden Road Animal Clinic, where they dedicated their time and heart to patients and their owners. When Dr. Ross was not doctoring animals he was encouraging and inspiring people to walk
closer with their God. His involvement with Glen Meadows Baptist Church, the Concho Country Emmaus Community, Westwood Ministeries and numerous prayer groups brought him great joy.
