Will Taylor Reed
(September 12, 1988 - February 14, 2016)
Our dear beloved Will left us Sunday, February 14th so that he might dwell in the house of the Lord. Will was born in Huntsville, Texas, on September 12, 1988. He grew up in Flynn, Texas and attended grades K-12 at Normangee ISD. During those years he excelled
academically, making the Honor Roll. He was active in UIL baseball, basketball, and football in addition to Youth Baseball and Little Dribblers. Upon graduation from high school, Will was accepted to Texas A&M University in College Station, Texas.
Although we were extremely proud of our son’s accomplishments, we most admired who he was as a person. Will will always be remembered for his “big heart” and “gentle soul” – for the kindness, love and generosity he freely shared; whether it be taking in a stray
cat or giving his last dime to a total stranger. He would always greet you with a gentle smile or a warm embrace. This was our Will. We are left with cherished memories of who our son was and will miss him more than words can ever express. We know he has found
peace in the company of his Heavenly Father.
Will Taylor Reed was born to Roy Edwin Reed, Jr. and Tara Lynn “Hays" Reed. Besides his loving parents, he leaves behind a brother, Ross Clayton Reed, Grandparents, Edwin and Audee Reed; aunts and uncles, Ross Glene and Bobbie Reed Glenewinkel; Phyllis Ross,
Robert and Patricia Dietz; and many cousins.
Pastor Jim Jackson will be presiding over the funeral service on February 19, 2016 at 2 pm at the Flynn FUMC, followed by the grave service at Gum Springs Cemetery. Viewing and visitation will be on Thursday from 5-7 pm at Cozart Funeral Home in Normangee.
