DUNLAP, Jerry Cecil
Jerry Cecil Dunlap, of Odessa and Georgetown, Texas passed away peacefully January 22, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.

Jerry was born on January 31, 1933 in Bula, Texas to Johnnie and Nina Dunlap. He was a proud graduate of Odessa High School and Texas A & M University where he majored in Business Administration. Jerry was a successful businessman and entrepreneur. He sought adventure in work and in his personal life traveling the world, hunting big game, fishing, sailing, scuba diving, snow skiing and exploring the waters with his treasured friends, the River Rats. Jerry served the community throughout his life with extensive involvement in many charitable organizations including the Odessa Boys and Girls Club and The Village Place.

Jerry was predeceased by his first wife, Laquita Dunlap, in 1995 and his second wife, Yvonne Thompson Dunlap, in 2011. He is survived by his children and their spouses Geri and Dale Lynn, Blake and Mary Dunlap and Paula Ann Nunemaker. He is also survived by his grandchildren Chris Nunemaker, Lauren Lynn and Heather Thompson and his sister and brother, Nina Jo and Jimmy.

A celebration of Jerry's life is planned for Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. at Imagine Art, 2830 Real Street, Austin, Texas 78722 (casual). A memorial service will be held in Odessa, Texas at a later date.

Should friends desire, contributions may be made to Imagine Art, where "every life is a work of art" (imagineart.net) or Boys and Girls Club of Odessa.
