David Imai, born on August 9th of 1953, entered Heaven's gates on December 14th of 2015 at the age of 62. He is survived by Danielle, Delaine, Drew, and Dean Imai, children with Diana Ayers. He is lovingly remembered by his sisters Doris Siskind and Debra Imai-Williams and brother-in-law Dave Williams along with his nieces and nephews. David is preceded in death by his parents, Shig and Ivy Imai. A native Houstonian, David was a graduate of Texas A&M and worked at Houston Northwest Medical Center for 40+ years. His greatest accomplishments were his children and being the best father he could be for them. Growing up on a farm David learned how to fix and repair almost everything. Even at work he knew how to fix the machines that no one else knew how. He was a very skilled mechanic and carpenter when it came to helping fix farm vehicles and his own beloved Camaro. David had great family values and each one of his children have special memories of him. Through him the children knew his integrity, work, ethic, honesty, humor, and overall his love. David left us far too early but his legacy of what he stood for will live on for eternity through his family and friends.
