Eliseo L. Pena, 63, a longtime resident of Chelmsford, passed away on Wednesday, November 11, 2015. He was the beloved husband of Patricia M.(O’Rourke) Pena of Chelmsford whom he married on May 24, 1987.
Born in Kingsville, Texas on April 8, 1952, he was a son of the late Esteban and Eglantina (Lozano) Pena.
Eliseo graduated from Texas A&I University Kingsville, TX and received a master’s degree from Texas A&M University in 1976. He was employed for a number of years at IBM Corp. and most recently was an engineer for Tervela.
In addition to his wife, Pat, Eliseo is survived by three brothers and three sisters as well as several nieces and nephews and one great niece. Eliseo’s family includes his brother Eduardo and his wife Melinda of Texas; Ed and Melinda’s daughters Marissa Wilkinson and her husband Jeremy of Arizona, and Marlina Ackerman and her husband Matt of Colorado. His sister Anita Rendon and her husband Raul and their children Elyse and Mark, all of California. His sister Emma Osaki and her late husband Victor, Emma and Victor’s daughter Katie Osaki Martin and her husband Tyler and daughter Addison, all of California. Brother Homero Pena, brother Hector Pena and his wife Patti and son Daniel; Sister Maricella Pena-Hune and her husband Mario and their children Imaya and Jaden, all of Texas. Pat’s family includes her Mom Mary O’Rourke and the late John J. O’Rourke of Wappingers Falls, NY, brother Thomas O’Rourke and his wife Patty and their sons Jason Schmidt and his wife Catherine and daughters Hayley and Hannah as well as Justin Schmidt and his wife Weston, all of Texas. Sister Maureen O’Rourke and her husband James Molloy of Massachusetts.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation which will be held on Sunday, November 15, 2015 from 3 PM until 6 PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday, November 16, 2015 at 11 AM at St. Mary Church, 25 North Road, Chelmsford. Interment will be private.
