Dr. Frank Gilman
DUBLIN Dr. Frank Gilman, 57, of Dublin died Friday, Nov. 8 in Dublin.
His funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 11 at First Baptist Church of Dublin with Danny Shearman officiating. Burial will be in DeLeon Cemetery under the direction of Harrell Funeral Home of Dublin.
He was born Oct. 21, 1945, at Gorman, the son of John Henry and Alva Lee Harris Gilman. He was a professor in the agriculture department at Tarleton State University. He was married to Brenda Clark on Oct. 9, 1965, in DeLeon. He was a member of Purves Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife., Brenda Gilman of Dublin; one son, Miles Gilman of Dublin; and his mother, Alva Lee Gilman of Dublin.
Memorials may be made to Purves Baptist Church in Dublin, or to the Evans-Hawes Scholarship Fund, in care of the College of Agriculture and Human Science, T-Box 180, Stephenville TX 76402.
