Donus SROUFE(1958 - 2015)
SROUFE, Donus SROUFE, Donus Richard (57), Beloved Husband, Father and Friend, passed away peacefully in his sleep on September 11, 2015. Born in Ponca City Oklahoma on February 10, 1958 to Gary and Phyllis Sroufe, he attended college at Texas A&M University, where he graduated in 1982 with a Bachelor of Science as an Electrical Engineer. Upon graduating, he started his first company, Genesis, and in 1986 he moved to Atlanta where he quickly became a member of the community. Donus went on to help start several technology companies in Atlanta, including MicroBilt Corporation and ActaMed Corporation, before retiring as an IT Business Consultant. Donus was deeply spiritual, he loved his family dearly, and he was surrounded by a network of friends that supported his life's passions. Donus is survived by his wife, Linda Hanna Sroufe of Suwanee, GA; son, Paul Richard Sroufe of Dallas, TX; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra and Mike Hill of Dallas, TX; son, Daniel James Hanna of Suwanee, GA; brother, Brian Sroufe; sisters, Tracie Wyatt, Tereasa Miller, Tristana Sroufe all of Ponca City, OK; Paul and Sandra's mother, Linda Kay Sroufe; and many dear friends.
