Commerce, GA

Mr. Buddy Charles Murdock, age 76 of Commerce died Thursday, March 07, 2013 at Athens Regional Medical Center. Mr. Murdock was born in Golden, TX to the late, Otis Cecil and Annabell Mobley Murdock. Mr. Murdock worked for Control Equipment Company; he was a member of Beaverdam Baptist Church, and a LT. JG in the US Navy.

Mr. Murdock is survived by his wife, Clarice Sparks Murdock of Commerce; son, Steven Charles Murdock (Regina) of Ft. Cobb, OK; daughter, Luanne M. Pendley (Kenneth) of Commerce; four grandchildren, Keenan Earl Pendley, Kami Clarice Dalton, Koltan Charles Pendley, and Kalli Louise Pendley; one great grandson, Wade Eric Dalton.

Funeral service will be Monday, March 11, at 11:00 AM from Beaverdam Baptist Church with Rev. Duane Eller, Rev. Matt Smith, and Rev. Chad Payne officiating with the interment following in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Sunday night from 5-8 PM.
