Malcolm Ernest Stratemann, age 84, passed away on May 9, 2015 in San Antonio, TX. He was born on January 22, 1931 in New Braunfels, TX. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend who will be dearly missed. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1952 with a degree in Agricultural Education. He married the love of his life, Jean Kincaid on November 8, 1953. He then served in the U.S. Army until 1954. Upon completion of his military service, he went on to further his education and received a degree in accounting from St. Mary's University in 1957. Malcolm went on to start an accounting practice with Sid Padgett. That accounting firm is now known as Padgett, Stratemann & Co., LLP.

He was preceded in death by his parents Laura and Eugene Stratemann, and his brother Lloyd Stratemann.

He is survived by his wife, Jean Stratemann; daughter, Melisa Fell and her husband Jeff Fell; son Malcolm Stratemann, and his wife Jennifer Stratemann; and grandchildren Meagan and Lauren Fell and Ryan and Paul Stratemann.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, May 14, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 1:00 p.m., Friday, May 15, 2015 at St. Paul 's Evangelical Church , 108 S. Main, Cibolo , TX 78108 . Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park. Condolences may be offered at www.sunsetfuneralhomesa.com.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Memorial Fund in memory of Malcolm Stratemann at St. Paul's Evangelical Church.
