John Morrow III 

John Mitchell Morrow III, age 73, of Red Lick, Texas, died Thursday, January 29, 2015 in a local hospital. 

Mr. Morrow was born November 11, 1941 in Red Lick, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Red Lick. He was a retired Engineer from Day and Zimmerman Inc. and had a self employed lawn service. He was a member of Red Lick First Methodist Church and the A& M Alumni Association.

He is survived by his sister and brother-in-law: Ann and Paul Mackey of Red Lick, Texas; one brother: Bill Morrow of Texarkana, Texas; two aunts: Virgie White of Texarkana, Texas; Florence White of Dallas, Texas; three nephews: Morrow Mackey and wife Leah of Red Lick, Texas; Jake Morrow and wife Kristi of Wylie, Texas; Jason Morrow and wife Kara of Texarkana, Arkansas; seven great nephews and great nieces; Crofts Morrow, Nolan Morrow, Lila Morrow, Nick Barber, Jacob Barber, Kynlie Morrow and Laynie Starkey; his first cousins; Don White of Red Lick, Texas; Ron White of Red Lick, Texas; special friends: Sharon Briggs of Texarkana, Arkansas; Anna Jo Briggs Rowtonof Texarkana, Arkanas; special friend: Lincolon Combs of Fayetteville, Arkansas; and a host of friends and other relatives. 


Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Monday at Red Lick First United Methodist Church, with Rev. Brian Waddell and Rev. Steve Petty officiating. Burial will be in Red Lick Cemetery under the direction of Chapelwood Funeral Home. 

The family will receive friends at Red Lick First United Methodist Church Sunday afternoon from 2:00 to 4:00 P M.
