Edward Daniel "Dan" McKinnis, 67, passed away January 17. He was born in Abilene, TX on April 26, 1947 to Fayne Albert and Frances Thornton McKinnis. Dan is survived by his wife of 27 years, Pamela Bacher, twin brother George, older brother Michael, daughter Dundi Thompson, sons Clayton, Justin and Levi, step daughter Lori Salley and 15 grandchildren.
Dan was a highway construction site foreman with Turner, Collie and Braden prior to his retirement, supervising many of the Beltway 8 projects.
Services will be 11:00 on Thursday, January 22 at Sugar Land Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Lineberger officiating. Interment will be at Oddfellows Cemetery in Ponca City, Oklahoma on Saturday, January 24.
