Elden Claude Cheatham
March 8, 1949 - December 23, 2014
Elden Claude Cheatham, 65, passed away on December 23, 2014 at his home in Del City, OK. Elden was born March 8, 1949 in Oklahoma City, OK to Claude Raymond and Wilda Mae (Rogers) Cheatham. He graduated from Carl Albert High School in 1967, and went on to serve in the US Army first armored division at Fort Hood, TX. Elden was a graduate of Texas A & M class of 1976. He worked for Wilson Art, Kerr-McGee, and Lockheed Martin. Elden is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his children, Eric Cheatham (Miranda), Amy Ponce (Roberto); four grandchildren, Trenton and Kolton Cheatham, Josiah and Analessa Ponce all of Temple, TX; brother, Jesse Cheatham; sisters, Linda Gail Beller and Cheryl Ann Siders all of OK; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends who will miss him dearly. In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Blue Santa program – Temple Police Department, 209 E. Avenue A, Temple, TX 76501 or to any charity of your choice. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 3, 2014 at the Bill Eisenhour Southeast Chapel. Condolences may be offered at www.eisenhourfuneral.com
