Lindsey Lipscomb
Lindsey Ivey Lipscomb, born on July 17, 1921 in Hempstead, Texas passed away on October 2, 2014. He had lived in Houston, but relocated to Dallas to be near his children after the death of his wife of 42 years, Dolores Denson Lipscomb. He was a decorated POW
and veteran of WWII. Following the war, he graduated with honors from Texas A&M, Class of 1949, and enjoyed a long career as a civil and petroleum engineer working with Exxon, Triton Engineering, and Enron. Lindsey Lipscomb is survived by his children, Stephen
William Lipscomb of Longmont, Colorado, Joseph Blake and Helena Mira Lipscomb of Fort Worth, Texas, and Ivy Lynn and Robert Michael Opdyke of Dallas, Texas, his seven grandchildren, and his ten great grandchildren. Services will be held on Saturday, October
