October 16, 1949 - October 31, 2013 Jordan Chick Gary, 64, of Wichita Falls, Texas died on Reformation Day, Thursday, October 31, 2013. Funeral services will be held at First Christian Church, 3701 Taft Blvd., Wichita Falls, TX, with Dr. David Hartman officiating
on Friday, November 8, 2013, at 10 A.M. and burial following at Sparkman Hillcrest Cemetery in Dallas, Texas at 4 P.M. with Dr. Paul Goodrich officiating. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, November 7, 2013, at Lunns Colonial Funeral Home in Wichita
Falls from 7:00 to 8:00 P.M.
Jordan was born to Betty Lou Chick and Alvin Creighton Gary, Jr. on October 16, 1949, in Dallas, Texas. He was a graduate of Richardson High School, Texas AM, and Perkins School of Theology, SMU, and earned his CFP in 1988. He was a minister in the United Methodist
and Christian Disciples of Christ churches in upstate South Carolina and North Texas. Jordan was owner and President of Jordan Gary and Associates and Investment and Asset Planning, LLC in Wichita Falls. He was previously owner of Encore Pianos in Plano, Texas.
Jordan was active in the Emmaeus Community and served on the Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America Northwest Texas Council.
Jordan married Barbara Fulmer on July 7, 1973, in Greenville, South Carolina. They moved with their four children to Wichita Falls, Texas, in February, 1986. He is survived by his wife, his son, Patrick W. Gary of Dallas, Texas daughter Noelle Gary Duncan and
husband, Brent Duncan, of Thousand Oaks, California son Aaron E. Gary and wife, Kristen Baker Gary of Richardson, Texas daughter Tiffany Gary Arredondo and husband George Arredondo, Jr., of Allen, Texas eight grandchildren, Ethan Duncan, Foster Duncan, Levi
Duncan, Brynn Gary, Matthew Gary, Bella Arredondo, Liliana Arredondo, and Vivian Arredondo his parents of Dallas, Texas two brothers, Rollin F. Gary and wife Catalina Garcia of Dallas, Texas and Wayne Gary and wife Jo Ann Henry of Garland, Texas, and one sister,
Louann Gary of Euless, Texas, several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
