Otha D. Aishman, 80, joined his Lord and savior July 13, 2013 in Wimberley TX. 

A Memorial & Life celebration service will be held at Trinity Chapel in Wimberley on Saturday, July 27 at 1:30 pm.

He was born on June 14, 1933 in Cross Plains, TX to Otha D. and Rennie Aishman.

Otha grew up in Hobbs NM where he graduated from Hobbs High school in 1951.  With accomplishments of class president, Sr. class favorite, class King and numerous other honors.

After high school he proudly attended and graduated from Texas A&M, in Bryan College Station, where he received a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration. He was also active in the Texas A&M University Corps of Cadets as captain of his squad and member of the Aggie players.

Otha served as a pilot for 6 years in the United States Air Force, flying a bomber fighter and  later achieved his dream of owning a P 51 Mustang.

The family moved to Wimberley from San Antonio after serving as interim pastor and in September of 1984 he became the full time pastor of Trinity chapel. Otha was a member of the Local Ministerial Alliance

Otha is survived by his wife of 40 years, Debra Aishman of Wimberley,  sons  Robert Dalton Aishman of Wimberley and Otha Dalton Aishman III of California, daughter Teresa Charping and husband Edward , grandson Eric and granddaughter Arianna (Max) Charping of Virginia, and daughter Reni Irby and husband  David, grandson Samuel Irby from Arkansas.  His church family of Trinity Chapel and he will be missed dearly by all who knew him.
