Felix Martin Peebie Goodrum
A native of Trinity, Texas and resident of Albuquerque, N.M., he passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He was 83 a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and retiree of the LA Department of Commerce and Industry. A service will be held Saturday, June 22, 2013 at 11 a.m. at Reflections Funeral Home in Albuquerque. Survivors include his wife, Beverly Bates Goodrum; daughters, Carolyn G. Pratt (Robert) and Joanna G. Theriot (John) and 7 grandchildren. Preceded in death by Eudora and Felix Goodrum, Sr. and James Robert Goodrum. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1950 with a degree in Architecture, and graduated with a Masters Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from the University of Houston.

Felix Goodrum
March 1, 1930 - June 19, 2013

Felix Martin Goodrum, Jr., age 83, passed away on Wednesday, June 19,2013.
He was born in Trinity, TX on March 1, 1930 to Eudora and Felix Goodrum, Sr. He was married to Beverly Bates on March 4, 1960 in Corpus Christi, TX. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1950 with a degree in Architecture and received a Masters Degree in Radio and Television Broadcasting from the University of Houston. Felix served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked in radio and television for 25 years in Houston, TX and Baton Rouge, LA.
After retiring he spent 6 months a year in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico and 6 months in San Francisville, LA before moving to Albuquerque, NM and lived there until his death.
He is survived by his wife and 2 daughters, Carolyn G. Pratt (Robert) of Albuquerque and Joanna G. Theriot (John) of Metairie, LA and 7 grandchildren, Michael, Grayson, Andrew and Davis Pratt and Whitney, Anna Claire and Ella Theriot.
Felix’s Life Celebration will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 22, 2013 at Reflections Funeral Life Celebrations (2400 Washington NE).
