Thomas "Tom" DeBord
April 16, 1946 - March 24, 2013

Tom DeBord, 66, of Houston passed away March 24, 2013. He was born April 16, 1946 in El Campo to the late Willis and Ella Peterson DeBord. He graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and was a member of the Society of Professional Engineers. He was also a lifetime member of the NRA and was a Member of the church of Christ.
He is survived by his brothers, Donald and Sue DeBord of Inez, Walter and Cyndi DeBord of Carrolton; sisters, Gwen Crocker of Clute, Karen and Rusty Vanden of Portland and Dorothy and Lee Coleman of Magnolia.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 29, 2013 from 5-7 p.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 10 a.m. at Richardson-Colonial Funeral Home with Wayne DeDear officiating. Interment will follow in Olivia Cemetery.
Pallbearers are TJ Tidwell, JG Musser, Don DeBord, Wes DeBord, Blaine DeBord and Chris Shaver.
In lieu of customary remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that gifts in Tom's name be directed to the Olivia Cemetery Association.
