Timothy Mahaffey
Timothy Lee Mahaffey passed away at home on December 27, 2012. He was born in Houston, Texas on June 15, 1965 to Jack and Nancy Mahaffey. He grew up an avid sports fan and played varsity baseball at
Klein Forest High School. Growing up, he loved animals and was always mischievous. He graduated from Texas A&M in construction and was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity. Music was a huge part of Tim's life and he was a fantastic guitarist. Tim worked for Brown & Root after graduating from A&M and later worked with fellow Sigma Chi brothers in the construction field. Tim is survived by his wife, Rian Reedy Mahaffey, his father, Jack Mahaffey, sisters, Vicki Mahaffey and Mindy Mahaffey, brother and sister-in-law, Jack Mahaffey, Jr. and Candy, nieces, Amanda and Laura Dennis and Lisa Mahaffey-Shelton, nephew-in-law, Chris Shelton and new great-nephew, Matthew Shelton who was born December 28, 2012. Tim is preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Mahaffey, and his beloved golden retrievers, Midas and Rusty.
A viewing will be held from 5 - 7 PM on January 1, 2013 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. Funeral services will be at 1 PM on January 2, 2013 at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorials in Timothy's name to the 12th Man Foundation, 401 George Bush Dr. College Station
