Gregory Thomas Bourgeois

Gregory Thomas Bourgeois June 8, 1978-Dec 23, 2012 Gregory Thomas Bourgeois, age 34, entered into eternal peace on December 23, 2012 after a 7 month battle with cancer. Born June 8, 1978 in Traverse City Michigan, Greg also lived in Mandeville Louisiana, Houston Texas and College Station Texas. He has been a resident of Austin since 2001. Greg graduated from Mandeville High School in 1996, he received a Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2001 and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Texas in 2008. Greg joined Jones and Carter in 1996 as an engineer. He was made a partner of Jones and Carter and was named to their board of Directors. Greg served on the Board of Directors for RECA ( Real Estate Council of Austin) and served on the board of the Zoning and Platting Commission of Austin. Greg is survived by his wife, Naomi Val, their 4 year old daughter Yvonne, their 2 year old son Dylan, his father, Thomas and mother Joan Walter of Austin , his brother Bryan of Austin. Family and Friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday December 30, 2012 from Noon to 3:00 PM at Angel Funeral Homes, 1600 First Street in Austin Texas. A Funeral Service will be held from 4:00 to 5:00 PM at the same location. In lieu of flowers, contributions will be directed to a memorial fund in Greg's honor.
