Benny Davis
Benny Leonard Davis passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on October 21, 2012.
Benny proudly served in the U.S. Air Force and is a veteran of the Korean War. After his dedicated service to his country, Benny attended Texas A&M University and retired from Brown & Root after 35 years of service. He will always be loved, remembered and dearly missed by his family.
Benny was preceded in death by his daughter, Michelle who welcomes him with open arms.
Benny, a native of Marlin, Texas, is survived by his wife of 59 years, Ginette Davis; son, Patrick Davis; granddaughter, Stephanie Davis; daughter-in-law, Kay Davis; God-Daughter, Valerie Garrett; God-Son, Edward Beshoory and numerous other loving family members and friends.
A special word of thanks to "A-Med Community Hospice" for their caring and compassionate attention during Benny's time of need.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2012 at 10:30 a.m. After the service, his family will have a private Memorial Graveside Service. The family has requested that in lieu of flowers a donation be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital .
