Donald Ray Beazley
Mr. Donald Ray Beazley, 82, of Nacogdoches, passed away Saturday, February 13, 2010 in Nacogdoches. A private, graveside service will be held at a later date. Donald was born in Grapeland, Texas on January 27, 1928, the son of the late Glenn and Etta (Pidgen)
Beazley. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. Donald enjoyed playing golf, had a great love for animals and was a supporter of the ASPCA and local animal shelters. He was a regional claims manager for the Hartford Insurance Company in Phoenix, Arizona
before he retired and returned to East Texas.
In addition to his wife Nancy Eason (Wallace) Beazley, of Nacogdoches; Donald is survived by a daughter, Betty Beazley Gurley of Atlanta, Georgia; a son, Tom Beazley of Tyler, Texas and a granddaughter, Michelle Kennedy of Tyler, Texas. He is also survived
by a brother, Tom Turner Beazley of Austin Texas. Donald is preceded in death by his parents, Glenn and Etta Beazley and a wife, Mable Stroud Beazley.
