Carolyn Behnke
Dr. Carolyn Marie Behnke (Lubbock) Carolyn was burn June 12, 1958 to Bonney Jack and Gertrude Klara (Bieberdorf) Wilson in Grants, New Mexico.
She received her BS degree from Texas A&M University in 1980 and began her career as a chemical engineer working for Union Carbide. She received her MD degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in 1988. She practiced as an anesthesiologist in Alabama and Texas and was most recently associated with NorthStar Anesthesia in Lubbock, Texas. Carolyn passed away suddenly on January 23, 2012.
She was preceded in death by her father Bonney Jack Wilson and mother, Gertrude Wilson. Left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Alan Wilson and Paul Wilson, two sisters, Barbara Wilson Fouke and Beverly Wilson Phoenix; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Haven Animal Care Shelter, 4501 N. FM 1729, Lubbock, Texas 79403, 806-763-0092; havenACS@gmail.com.
A memorial service will be held at Redeemer Lutheran Church, in Lubbock, Saturday January 28, 2012 at 10:00 am. Condolences may be offered at www.resthavenfuneralhome.com.
