Donald CLARK
DONALD HARRY CLARK , age 82, passed away Wednesday, January 4, 2012, in Houston. He was born on October 23, 1929, in Fort Scott, Kansas, to Russell and Bonnie Clark. Don proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. In 1952, while attending Texas A&M University, he married the love of his life, Norma "Jackie" Clark. A year later, Don graduated first in his class from A&M, with a degree in civil engineering. He went on to become a Professional Civil Engineer. Don thoroughly enjoyed over forty years employed by N.L. Baroid, as Manager of Engineering, until his retirement. Don was a very active member of the Houston Elks Lodge # 151, for forty-one years, where he had been appointed a past Exalted Ruler. He was also a member of American Legion Post #0560, for twenty-seven years.

Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Norma "Jackie" Clark. He is survived by his son, Russell " Rusty" Clark and wife Tracye; sister, Carol Pickens and husband Ray; grandchildren, Chase Russell Clark and Garrett Ryan Clark; nephew, Austin Pickens; niece, Maria Gillespie; and many close relatives and friends.

Memorial Service: 2:00 PM, Monday, January 9, 2012, Earthman Southwest Chapel, Stafford. Memorials in Don's name may be made to the Texas Elks Endowment, Inc., www.texaselks.org, Elks National Foundation, www.elks.org, or to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation, www.pbtfus.org.
